Announcement: Ingenia has acquired the Bayshore masterbatch tolling operations in La Porte, Texas

Ingenia Polymers, the global leader in providing one-stop, full-service, post reactor operations for the world’s largest polymer producers and a global player in proprietary masterbatches and concentrates for converters, has acquired the Bayshore masterbatch tolling operations located at 1300 McCabe Road, La Porte, Texas (“Bayshore”) that were part of A. Schulman, Inc. prior to its acquisition by LyondellBasell in 2018. The Bayshore transaction closed on March 2, 2020.

With this acquisition, Ingenia brings added expertise and capacity to its existing world-class team and infrastructure, increases its leadership in the polymer producer services market, and expands its capability to serve the converter market.

The facility expands Ingenia’s portfolio of processing equipment and technologies and has extensive quality assurance and R&D equipment. These operations serve a number of North America’s leading polymer producers and will continue to do so under Ingenia’s leadership.
