Working With Organizations

All of our manufacturing sites at Ingenia have taken the OCS pledge with a goal to develop and maintain world-class housekeeping and containment practices to work toward achieving zero pellet, flake, and powder loss into the environment.

Ingenia has partnered with the Sustainable Packaging Coalition to bring new solutions to the plastic packaging industry through the recycling of multi-material flexible packaging. The efforts to support “In-plant film recycling” as well as D4R (Design for Recycling) film structures containing Ingenia’s INCIRCLE® IP1601 Compatibilizer masterbatch, allows for collection of barrier films through store drop off programs.

As a member of the Association of Plastics Recyclers, Ingenia assists our customers in developing innovative films that allow for recyclability of flexible packaging, that would otherwise end up in landfill. A key area of focus for Ingenia is the growth of recycle content in flexible packaging and bringing end of life solutions to multi-material packaging. Through the APR Design Guide program, recycle streams continue to grow in value and supply and can be used in more end markets.
